Context
I've always loved going to Arcades with my friends and playing games like Pacman, Space Invaders and Time Crisis. When we do this, we have no way to easily track each others' high scores and have friendly competition.
UX Storyboarding
Low fidelity wireframes to high fidelity prototypes
I began with low-fidelity wireframes to map out the structure and core features, focusing on essential user flows such as submitting scores and viewing leaderboards. This prioritised speed and exploration, allowing me to refine ideas without being distracted by visual design.

Next, I developed a low-fidelity prototype to bring these ideas to life in an interactive format. This clickable version made it easy to test navigation, validate user journeys, and identify friction points early, ensuring the flow was intuitive before committing to detailed visuals.

Arcade Scores was a fun yet challenging project that brought together my passion for gaming and my skills in UX design. Balancing retro charm with modern usability, integrating social features, and designing for the fast-paced arcade environment pushed me to think both creatively and practically. The result is an app that’s social, immersive, and built for players on the move, with plenty of scope for future growth and features.
